color schemes & skinning your article site manager ® website

Edit Color Scheme

This function allows you to customize the website by changing the colors used throughout the site. A handy color picker is included (accessed via clicking on the colored box next to the html color code) that allows you to simply click on a color code to change the color you want in the main style form. When colors are changed on the form the color "swatch" next to the code automatically updates so you may see all the new colors within one page.

Once you have chosen the new colors for your site you simply submit the form and your site is instantly changed!

Loading Color Schemes

Want more than one color scheme? The application comes preloaded with 5 predefined distinct color schemes. To change the whole look and feel of the site you simply select the color scheme, submit the form and your site is instantly changed.

Saving Color Schemes

Want to make your own color scheme and save it for later? All you have to do is edit the site current color scheme and activate it. Then you can save the color scheme you have created by giving it a name and clicking the save button. The current color scheme is saved in the system. Make as many schemes as you wish and then any time you feel the need for a change just activate one of your saved color schemes!

'Skinning' Your ASM site

As of version 4.0 (out Feb. 8, 2008) you will be able to 'skin' your ASM site by creating an HTML file, along with some basic elements, upload that skin and a CSS file into the system. The files you need to upload are nothing more than simple HTML, no programing skills are required. Once this is done you set your new files as the active skin and instantly your site will be redesigned!
