The article uploader is one of the most powerful features in the Article Site Manager ® admin section! This section allows you to upload as many articles as you need at one time, all in one zip file! The system will unzip your articles, format them (if required) and enter them into the proper database table (live or updates table). You may upload preformatted articles (that contain the proper HTML code) or unformatted articles. By following a few simple instructions with your unformatted articles you can have perfectly formatted HTML files in your system in seconds!
You may edit any article in the system (from the live db or the updates table) simply and easily in the edit article section. Simple enter the articles ID number (or by clicking on a link to it) and the article is loaded back into a simple HTML form for you to edit. Simply make the changes you need and submit the form!
The front page options section of the article manager allows you to set up how and when the main page of your site updates. You can set it up to change the front page hourly, daily, weekly, monthly or never (you have to manually update it). You may also tell the system how to select articles for your front page. These options are randomly, ascending through the database or descending through the database.
The last method to add articles to your site is with our author article section. This section allows you to write articles using an online WYSIWYG which is perfect for those that may not know HTML. Once your article is written and formatted how you want it you may either save it to the system as a live article (it will display on the site) or you may save it as a draft. Draft articles are listed below the WYSIWYG. To load one of your drafts back into the editor you simply click its link.
